The Foundation
One-to-one somatic mentoring for people longing to radically reconnect to their creative power
There’s been something niggling at you for months.
You’ve been disconnected.
Feeling overwhelmed and under resourced.
You’re all too familiar with the 3am wake up, mind spinning out in the darkness. Or self-soothing through your days with whatever numbs you into some semblance of ‘peace’.
And yet, under the white noise, something’s tugging at your sleeve.
You have a feeling that some powerful, potent version of you is lurking under your skin.
The version of you that’s able to stand steady in the face of it all – the chaos, the uncertainty, the fear – and know that you can handle it. The version that can tap into an unwavering thread of connection, creativity and support at any time.
You can feel the pull, but how to do follow the call?
It’s a Practice
The systems we live within thrive on our disconnection.
They are designed to sever us from our power, magic, and creativity.
To cut the threads of our relationship with the living world and one another.
To dislocate us from the spark of aliveness and keep us spiralling in the shallow end.
It’s a radical practice to embody otherwise.
Reconnection comes through repetition at the level of the body. Feeling your way in, rather than ruminating. Countless small reclamations–of your attention, your power, your bigness–that root in and shift your experience of life.
It’s a practice to standing fully in the centre of yourself, meeting the world with steady footing.
That’s what you’ll build in The Foundation.
Over 12 weeks you’ll develop a somatic practice that brings you home to yourself.
You’ll find the practices that resonate with you, build supportive structures to embed your practice in your everyday life (even if you’re days are wildly full), and be held throughout so you’re not doing it alone.
This might be a good fit if:
✹ You're tired of living life as a floating head. You’re exhausted by thinking your way through everything and you’re ready to find a more embodied approach
✹ Over doing and over-efforting are your baseline. You feel like you’re moving too fast and your energy is scattered every which way. You push through, over and over again – running on high until you collapse
✹ You’re stuck in chronic freeze, like a deer in the headlights. Disconnection and numbing out are your home ground, they keep you stuck in place and unable to move toward your desires
✹ You’re really good at shapeshifting. Trusting everyone else’s opinion and ignoring your own knowing. You learn what’s expected of you and perform the role perfectly but the mask is getting suffocating
✹ You’re running on self-doubt. Not taking yourself seriously. Comparing yourself and letting the inner critic peering over your shoulder stop you before you even begin
✹ You’re ready to expand your capacity to stay centred and hold your own, even in the middle of big life changes, chronic pain, anxiety or, you know, These Unprecedented Times™
✹ You're interested in both personal and collective liberation. You desire to step into your bigness, and to live a life of right relationship with body, spirit, community, earth, and lineage
✹ You fuck with mysticism. You’re open to the idea that the universe is vast, filled with wild possibilities, energy, and magic (and that maybe - just maybe - you are too)
✹ You understand that sustainable change takes time and you’re ready to commit to the process
Probably not your thing if:
✹ You want someone to give you a magic formula
✹ You don’t want any after-session work to do on your own
✹ You're looking for a quick fix. A good-vibes-only bandaid
✹ You're not ready to get curious about some big questions
✹ You need crisis support right now (that’s not my area of expertise but I know some great folks who can help)
What will we do?
Our sessions are guided by an overarching structure that guides us through the 3-month container, while also being adaptable to what’s emergent.
I bring a unique set of skills, knowledge, and experience to support you, including – somatic trauma resolution, breathwork, guided movement, rest practices, ritual, altar work, and folk magic.
Whatever the shape the session takes, it’s always a trauma-informed space. My role isn’t to ‘fix you’ or be some all knowing guru. Instead I help you meet yourself and expand your capacity to be with your experience.

And then what?
Like any practice of unlearning and remembering, this work unfolds in spirals rather than straight lines.
I’m not going to sell you a quick fix. Reality is that, when we’re working with the body, things can shift quickly but there’s no magic pill. Sustainable change is built from having consistent support over time, allowing the body to unfold at its own pace.
After our initial 3 months together are complete–if you’d like to continue working together–you’ll have the option to continue on with another 3-month container (locking in the same rate you initially paid), or book ad hoc sessions offered on a sliding scale.
The Investment
3-month container
Pay in full – £960
Payment plan – £320/month
I’m beta-testing this new shape to my work during winter and spring, which means that this is the lowest that this intimate container will be.
Ensuring that my work is accessible to folks in all financial situations is a deeply important part of my anti-capitalist business.
I hold open pay-what-you-can spaces for BIPOC, trans, sick and/or disabled folks on a low income. Drop me an email me to check on availability.
Wondering who I am?
Hey, I’m Elle. I’m a queer, neurodivergent, witchy weirdo who makes art in her spare time and has a penchant for silliness.
I’ve spent the last 20 years knee-deep in my own embodiment explorations, and the last 8 helping others to come back to their bodies with breathwork, rest, somatics, and folk magic.
Some common themes clients come to me for support with are:
finding the unique pathways that enable them to come into relationship with their bodies and the living world
trusting their creative expression, finding their voice, and devoting to creative practice
rooting into a steady sense of self through moments of transformation and transition
learning to slow down, untangle from urgency, and be more present in their lives
expanding capacity to feel their feelings without getting swept away
shedding the ways that capitalism and colonialism have shaped their experience of their body and the living world
navigating anxiety and chronic overthinking

Our bodies are the vessel through which we experience life. They carry the memory of all that we’ve lived through (and all that our ancestors lived through), both good and painful.
Soma is Ancient Greek for ‘the body’. It not only encompasses the physical flesh and bone, but also the energetic, emotional, mental, spiritual and relational facets of our lived experience. And beyond our individual self, somatics (as I practice it) also weaves us into relationship with the more-than-human world, and the body of the earth.
And so, within somatics we’re working deeply with the body as a site for healing disconnection. We’re noticing the body in relationship to all things.
That means less ‘top down’ processing, as one might do in talk therapy, as more ‘bottom up’ experiencing. Meeting sensation as it arises and tending to it with presence and care. Over time, this helps you reconnect to your body’s wisdom and expand your capacity to meet life as it moves, as well as weaving you into deeper relationship with community and the living world.

The short answer is that breathwork is a practice where we bring attention and intention to our breath.
It’s a powerful self-healing practice that allows for deep self-exploration and transformation.
Breathwork brings you into your body, helps you to release stuck energy and suppressed emotions, and shift out of old ways of being that no longer allow you to thrive.
Cultures around the world have used the breath as a way to heal and connect - physically, emotionally, and energetically - for millennia. There are many different lineages and practices. Personally, I work with the 3-Part Breath, Conscious Connected Breath, and with Pranayama techniques from the yogic tradition.
-
I mean the work of intentionally unlearning the urgency of capitalism that lives in your body.
I mean reclaiming your capacity to do nothing without feeling guilty about it.
I mean shaking free of the grind of toxic productivity so that you can honour your body’s needs.
I mean recovering your nervous system from burnout and interrogating the things that got you to that level of exhaustion in the first place. What that looks like on a practical level is a bunch of practices that encourage rest, including restorative yoga, yoga nidra, restful breathwork, and somatic practices that help you cultivate stability in your nervous system.

This work can be healing, and it can bring new facets of growth and awareness into your therapy sessions, but it’s not therapy. I’m not a therapist.
What I am, however, is someone who is can help you find your way back to yourself. There are many paths to growth and healing. Often just talking about our problems isn’t enough, you need to bring your body into the conversation.
-
Nope! However my lens on embodiment is queer af, trans-inclusive, and intersectionally feminist, so I do generally work with women, non-binary folks, and trans babes of all genders.
I take great care to hold spaces that center and celebrate marginalised identities.
-
We carry a lot of history in our bodies, whether it’s trauma, body image issues, gender dysphoria, chronic pain, addiction. Being in relationship with your body can be complex and fraught, full of places that feel unsafe, shut down, or antagonistic.
Which is why my work is trauma-informed and body positive.
Agency and body autonomy are a given. This space is yours and we go at a pace that feels safe to you.
You are worthy of care and connection no matter what your body has held you through. There isn’t a different set of rules for you, no matter how much you might feel different, isolated, broken, or in need of fixing.
-
Financial accessibility is an important part of how I run my business. I’m committed to making healing work more accessible in late-stage capitalism, especially because oppression and violence shape who has access to wealth.
The investment for one-to-one work can be split over the three months, to help divide out the cost.
And I also offer pay-what-you-can spaces when I can for marginalised folks with low income.
Please contact me to check availability. If not, I'll add you to the waiting list for next month. Priority will go to BIPOC and Trans folks.
-
Don't worry, we'll figure it out. I work with people in lots of different time zones, and we’re always able to find a way to meet.
-
For sure! I know that this is a commitment, both financially and energetically, and before you dive in you might want to make sure we’re a good fit.
Feel free to book in a curiosity call, and let’s chat through any questions you’ve got.
